For the saddists, I've got no horror story for you.
After the procedure, I felt like I've had worn old contacts for too long, and was quite sensitive to light, but that only lasted a couple of hours. I couldn't stare at a computer screen due to that, but otherwise, it was only a minor annoyance.
I had my first follow-up appointment this morning and the result: I currently have 20/15 sight (I can see at 20 meters what the "standard" person can see only at 15 meters)! That's even more than I hoped for! It might even continue to go better for roughly 3 months if all heals well! Who knows, maybe 20/10 if I really hit a luck jackpot!
Overall, BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!!
